Overcoming Comparison

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

We are discussing
OVERCOMING COMPARISON

We were prompted to own what we have (which includes victory) and protect it from the enemy.

Victory is experienced in the place where you're supposed to be.
In your lane, you can confidently declare, "I HAVE THE VICTORY AND MY NAME IS ON THE VICTORY LIST. RESERVATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE FOR ME AT THE VICTORY TABLE.

Don't entertain the lie, nor the liar. He will lead you to believe something other than what you've declared.

John 14:26 KJV
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto to you.

Discomfort should be expected. People aren't hired for a job that doesn't exist. If there were no discomfort on the journey, the Holy Spirit wouldn't be able to be our Comforter.

Your lane is the perfect lane for you.

It's easy to compare, but the thing is, comparison is an unhealthy practice, especially when it comes to lanes.

YOUR lane will get YOU where YOU need to be. Yours was created specifically for you.

The best lane to be in is the lane you're in.

Everyone thinks there's a better lane or that the grass is greener on the other side. You want to get out of your lane, but someone else is dying to be in yours. The enemy will try to convince you that the other side is much better than your side. It's been like that since his works in the garden. He'll try to get you to second guess what you know you know and manipulate you to put you against yourself. He stifles your power by doing this; don't let him.

Luke 10:19 KJV
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Psalm 139:14
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Know full well that God carefully and intricately made you and made plans for you. When you know, feelings have nothing to do with it.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

I am more than enough...
I am my own enough...
I am too enough to compare my enough with someone else's enough

I will not compare
I cannot compare
I shall not compare

You were full/filled the first time.

The only reason we go back for more is if we feel like there wasn't enough the first go round.
The interesting thing about this is that when you're distracted, you take more and more and more to the point where you're uncomfortably stuffed and can barely move (example: eating a family sized bag of chips while watching tv; you inevitably eat too many). Likewise, when you're eating a meal, your stomach takes a little minute to send signals of satisfaction to the brain, but if you're not giving yourself time to rest and digest what's in front of you, you'll get more and end up overeating and stuffing yourself because you thought your portion wasn't enough the first time.

📣 Footballs aren't meant to be dribbled.

Trying to do someone else's thing with your tools is completely ineffective and a total waste of time and energy. All tools involved are fully functional, but only if used correctly.
If you have the right thing in the wrong place, it won't work.

Nothing's wrong with you, you're just meant to serve a different population than the next person.

It matters who you impact with what you have. It matters who's holding you. If the tool is in the wrong hands, it can feel inadequate/too small or overwhelming/too big leaving it to be used incorrectly or not at all.

Don't leave your assigned population underserved because you're focusing on someone else's lane.

It's not about the stage; it's about blooming where you're planted.

You're great in the place you're graced for. Don't separate yourself from grace. Focus on what's in front of you while being aware of what's around you.
