Hi Everyone!!!  I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas #HBDJesus In light of the Christmas season, we started last Sunday's sermon with  Isaiah 9:6 NKJV For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a  Son is given; And  the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor,  Mighty God, Everlasting Father,  Prince of Peace. The emphasis was focused on who Jesus is. He is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, [etc.] the "etc." isn't in the verse, but the point is to remind you that He is the "I am that I am", meaning He isn't limited to one title; the list can go on and on. Praise the Lord for the "etc." !!!! Whatever it is that you're in, God can be your "etc."  He can do the impossible and be whoever it is you need Him to be at that time. The question that was posed after the scripture was, "who is He to me?"

Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday! High five for making it over the hump As a matter of fact, since we're working on magnifying our  faith drops , let's celebrate a bit for making it mid-week... That was fun, wasn't it? Last Sunday we revisited our friends, #Faith and #NewThing. If you missed last week's blog, click  here . Our focus scripture was  Isaiah 43:18-19 . I'm going to put several versions/paraphrases of the scripture below in case one hits you more than the others or more simply, in case there's one that is more understandable to you than the others.  KJV                                18  Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.                                       19  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. NKJV “Do  not remember the former things, Nor consider the thi

Feel free to share the link to this post on your social platforms. #GoodNewsIsForSharing On Sunday, we focused on: Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT “But forget all that—      it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new.      See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness.      I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Wow, right?  #NewThing To provide a little context for these verses, in verses 14-17, God is highlighting the amazing things He has done, and then in verses 18 and 19, He's saying yes, those are all great things, but wh

Believe Facts Over Fallacies Facts vs. Fallacy Fact:   indisputable : unable to be challenged or denied. Fallacy : mistaken belief especially one based on an unsound argument Despite the facts, we so

Hello Everyone!! Quick Reminder: Mark your calendars for Laborer's Sunday!! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  We're jumping right back in our series about being.... This past Sunday, Elder Arlene contributed to this valuable sermon series that's teaching us about how valuable we are. Crazy thing is that we aren't valuable because of some amazing thing we've done or said or because we've lived such perfect lives. We're valuable simply because we were created and belong to God. When you make a masterpiece, you tend to value it, especially if you see it as being very good. Same with God. He values us because we are His masterpiece; we just have to commit to seeing ourselves as He does. "When you know you're worth, you won't buy into anything." She discussed many things as it relates to value, but the overarching topic,
