Faith Boost Part 2

Hi Everyone!! I hope you're having a great week thus far! This past Sunday, we got another faith boost. They're like a pre-workout supplement that gives all the fuel and nutrients one needs to go put in the work. Per usual, it's always worth revisiting the Hall of Faith when discussing faith boosts: Hebrews 11:1 Hebrews 11:6 Hebrews 10:38 Some complementary scriptures include: Romans 12 The story of Joshua and Caleb The blog for the Faith Boost part 1 can be found here:  https://wopccbiblestudy.blogspot.com/2019/06/faith-boost.html That blog goes into the weeds of what was preached in part 1. _______________________________________________________________________________ This Sunday was like the water break where we got the opportunity to hydrate before we got back to work.  The sermon started with a demonstration so we could get an understanding of the parallel between sight and obedience.  The idea was that eyes c...

Hi Everyone!! *I hope Bishop is okay with me creating a title for this sermon. Gerrylyn encouraged us to be more mindful of what we're filled with and how important it is for us to be filled with the right things in order to be in a position to be used optimally by God. She mentioned how people are filled with so many different things and unfortunately, some of those (good) things are hidden from the world (often times as a result of some things being hidden from the person themselves). Epidemic -  a widespread occurrence of an infectious disease in a community at a particular time . M.I.T. said we need an epidemic of God flowing through our lives. In keeping with that declaration, the definition has multiple points in it: widespread occurrence:   Acts 1:8 states, " But you shall receive power   when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and   you shall be   witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and  Samaria, and to the   end of the earth.'...
